Terms, payments & refunds.

Leroux Siteworks is a website design and improvement business run by Alejandro Leroux-Arvelo, based in Chelsea, Alabama, and working with clients remotely. These terms explain how quotes, payments, cancellations and refunds work. Your written quote has the details for your project, and if anything in it differs from this page, the quote applies.

Services and prices

Website fix-ups start at $149, new homepages at $399, and small websites of up to five pages at $899. My first three clients get 30% off. Before any work starts, I send a written quote with the scope, a fixed price and a timeline. Work starts only after you approve it in writing (a reply by email is fine).

Hosting, domain names, paid apps or plugins, live booking calendars, online payments on your site and ongoing maintenance aren't included unless your quote says so. You pay any hosting, domain and subscription costs directly to the provider, in accounts under your name.

How payment works

You pay by secure online invoice, by card or bank transfer. Invoices are due within 7 days.

Website fix-up: paid in full after the work is done and you've checked it.
New homepage: 50% to start, and 50% once you approve the finished homepage, before it goes live.
Full website: three equal payments: to start, when you approve the design, and before launch.

Your site goes live, or files and logins are handed over, once the final payment is received. If an invoice is overdue, work pauses until it's paid.

Revisions and changes

Every project includes one round of revisions. New pages, features or changes beyond the agreed scope are quoted separately, in writing, before any extra work starts.

Cancellations and refunds

If you cancel before I start design work, your first payment is refunded in full. If you cancel after work has started, you pay only for the work completed up to that point, and anything you've paid beyond that is refunded. If I can't deliver what was quoted, you get a full refund for any work not delivered. Refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days.

Timelines in quotes are estimates and depend on getting your content, feedback and account access on time. If a delay on my side means a date will slip, I'll tell you as soon as I know.

Ownership

Once your project is paid in full, you own your content, your domain and your website files. If your site runs on a platform such as Squarespace, Wix or Shopify, the account stays in your name and the platform remains a subscription you control. With your permission, I may show the finished work in my portfolio.

The free site review

The free review is a short personal video about your website. It's yours to keep, and there's no obligation to buy anything.
